Getting rid of PUAs in Shadow Copies

 I'm getting this alert daily:

\\.\GLOBALROOT\Device\HarddiskVolumeShadowCopy316\Shares\PortlandUsers\csmith\Desktop\$RECYCLE.BIN\$RJW9ZPW.doc

This folder is synced from the users workstation. The file was deleted from the workstation long ago and it's not in the current folder on the server.

Shadow copies are disabled on the server.  How do clean this up?
