Delay on loading savscan

Hi,

I want to scan file with savscan (command-line) but it read all database files every time and it takes about 7 seconds for that!

so when want to scan 10 separate files (not together) i should run it 10 times and takes more than one minute!!

is there any switch for command-line to use deamon process database?

    Hello D Eban,

    savscan initializes and uses its own instance of the scanning engine. This causes the overhead you've noticed.

    Apparently there hasn't been much demand if at all for a command-line tool that uses SAVDI - guess most users of SAVDI write their own applications and don't go though the shell.
