Source: SAVOnAccess Event ID: 563 was found multiple times

Hi Guys,

 

I found that the Source: SAVOnAccess Event ID: 563 generated multiple times and by description "Communication error between on-access driver and service for access of registry key".

 

Endpoint Security and Control -10.7

Sophos Anti-Virus --10.7.6.128

 

Could you please check and let us know why this event was occurring and how to resolve it.

    Hi Karthik,

    We saw a similar issue with an older version of SAV. However, you are running 10.7.6 so it's a bit unusual. Is there any problem you are facing as a whole? Or you are just interested in knowing what that error is?

    If you can install 10.8.1 on a few test computers which falls under Preview Subscription, let us know if that resolves the problem.

    If this particular error is on many machines - please raise a case with us and we'll be happy to investigate it further for you.
