Change rpm package name in mkinstpkg

When we run mkinstpkg -r to build rpm installation packages, the package name is always set to savinstpkg-0.0-1.  As we try to build software channels in Satellite for the different version of RHEL we are using, the packages are conflicting with each other.  The package imported to Satellite keeps overwriting the previous one.

Is it possible to set the package name to something other than savinstpkg-0.0-1?  -o does not work because while the file name is changed, the package name is ultimately savinstpkg-0.0-1.
