Having trouble setting up scheduled scan from file

I defined a scheduled scan in a file, using namedscan.example.en as an example, and named it cvscan, in /opt/sophos-av.

However, when I try to add the scheduled scan using /opt/sophos-av/bin/savconfig add NamedScans cvscan /opt/sophos-av, I get this warning message:

NamedScans: Warning: scan has no schedule

I then tried to add the shippped example scan file as a named scan, but I get the same result:

/opt/sophos-av/bin/savconfig add NamedScans namedscan.example.en /opt/sophos-av/doc
NamedScans: Warning: scan has no schedule

Both scan files have date=... and time=... options set, e.g. cvscan has the following:

day=saturday

time=02:00

What am I doing wrong?

  • Hello

    I have spoken to our dev team, they have asked if you could add the file name to the end of the savconfig command e.g.

    "/opt/sophos-av/bin/savconfig add NamedScans cvscan /opt/sophos-av/cvscan"

    This will hopefully help in setting up the schedule as the system can't find the file to apply the scan when you have been previously trying.

    Thanks
