How do I uninstall 'silent' sophos av?

Hello

I have decided to make the jump to Linux, I followed instructions off various websites to install Sophos, turns out the one ive installed must be for servers as it has no GUI... can anybody please tell me:-

A) How to uninstall it?

B) How do I install ANY anti-viru that has a GUI just as if it was in windowss?

As I say Im a noob so go easy

Hello Paul Bartley,

A) simply run uninstall.sh

B) Sophos had a GUI but it has since been removed. Can't say if there is an AV for Linux that provides a decent GUI.

You can try ESET® NOD32® ANTIVIRUS 4 FOR LINUX DESKTOP. It has the graphical interface and in the last test AV-TEST (2015) was pretty good. It is a good product for desktop but less for servers. Uninstalling is also done by clicking on an icon ...
