Endpoint Protection 10.1 BETA is now available

Just a quick post to you know that the Endpoint 10.1 BETA is now available. I wanted to highlight some of the DLP specific enhancements and fixes:

1) Extended application monitoring support:

• Google Chrome

• Microsoft Lync

• Skype

2) Support for validation routines within CCLs (something we've had in the email appliance DLP since day one). The following routines have been added to the relevant CCLS (no need to change policy if you are already using these CCLs):

• Credit/debit card numbers (Luhn checksum)

• UK NHS patient identification number

• US healthcare national provider identifier

• US healthcare drug enforcement administration identifier

• Spanish fiscal identification number

• Canadian Social Insurance number

• CUSIP financial identifier

3) Uploads from the root user folder and downloads folder into monitored applications will now be scanned.

We also added a "file size" column to data control events in the now live V10 release.
