How can I automatically assign computers to computer groups in Sophos Central?

Thanks!  That's exactly what I was looking for.

I've looked at the suggested link which explains the available switches:

However these switches don't work on the thin installer available from the Sophos Central site (sophosinstall.exe).  This installer only offers these switches:

I have also tried unpacking sophosinstall.exe to get setup.exe but the switches referenced in the first document still don't work.

The first link above mentions SophosSetup.exe.  Where does that come from?

I am obviously missing something here but I can't work out what it is at the moment.

If someone could point me in the right direction that would very helpful!

Hello Robin,

my bad, I didn't read the article with adequate care - This capability will be available to customers soon via an early access program in late November. Thus I think it's not yet GA. Can't say if it is an open Early Access Program.

I saw that quote about November and just though "it's December....!"

I had a look at the Early Access Program link and found the new client is indeed open.  I have joined the program and and am testing the client now.

I'm assuming there is only command line switches for adding computers to group, not users, correct?

That is how I understand it.
