Sophos MDR Sensor or how to monitor foreign Sophos Agent?

Is this product still available?

 XDR Sensor deployment mode now available to Endpoint and Server XDR customers 

I have joined the EAP but can see no change in the available installers for download.

And how can we get a security status of a Sophos endpoint, that does not belong to our company into our Central status and MDR checks?

We have one server that is managed and maintained directly by a software vendor. They have pre-installed their own purchased/licensed Sophos Endpoint on the machine. But unfortunately from our perspective, this is an unprotected server.

Could we use Sophos Sensor (if it still exists) and install it on such a machine? Or would it only work for non-Sophos Antivirus installs?

    Thank you for reaching out to the community.

    As you mentioned above, this should be available with an XDR license. Upon joining EAP, this option will show the Endpoint Protection installer below.



    XDR Sensor works only on a device that doesn't have a Sophos endpoint installed. It cannot be installed on a device where our Endpoint is present since it will cause a conflict. 
    XDR sensor uses a Core agent to communicate with Sophos Central. When You install both Endpoint and core Agent, the system will be bound to fail, as there cannot be two core agents running on a single device. 
    Once the Sensor is installed on a target device that does not have IX, That Device will show in your manage Dashboard. 
    Installing a sensor on this server isn’t possible in your current case.
