Sophos Endpoint on AlmaLinux 8/9

Hello,

I have installed kernel-devel prior to installation of SAV 9 on my linux server, but I got the following error message:

On-access scanning not available. It was not possible to obtain or build suitable kernel support.

Does AlmaLinux require the same additional steps as described for RedHat Linux?

Hi Alfons, Yes, that is very likely, since AlmaLinux is designed to be binary-compatible with RHEL, it will require the same steps as RHEL. Thanks, Douglas.
