Sophos deployment using Microsoft Intune Autopilot

Hi,

Currently we are testing Microsoft autopilot for new devices and this is working wonderfully for all apps apart from Sophos.
Even when only using the following guide provided on here ( https://community.sophos.com/intercept-x-endpoint/f/recommended-reads/126274/sophos-central-windows-endpoint-deploying-using-microsoft-intune )

The problem here is that when it gets to deploying apps it gets stuck at ''0 out of 1 Apps installed'' untill the deployment times out after 2 hours.
It looks like the install is stuck somewhere however i cannot seem to fix this.

Has anyone succesfully deployed sophos with autopilot lately? And if so how did you manage to do this? Any tips or advice is appriciated.

Kind Regards,

  • I've used that guide as recently as yesterday and it works great. I don't however use it with autopilot, just intune's own checks for installation and installs if required.

That said, I've had issues installing it if the machines have things like Mcaffee on them from factory, I've had very little luckwith Sophos' competitor removal the last few years - used to be fine.

There is a log under programdata/sophos I believe called cloud installer - this is usually a great place to check for things like the competitor issues.
