I use an IPSecVPN / SSL VPN connection in conjunction with Sophos Endpoint Protection on the end devices in a company with around 200 employees.
Unfortunately, our laptops have an extremely poor / slow connection as soon as endpoint protection is used on the client. If the client has not installed endpoint protection (disabling all components is not enough), then everything is fine and the bottleneck is gone.
Are there people here in the community who have had similar experiences? Are there any parameters I can use to optimize the connection?
We recognize the slow connections very well in simple files (Excel, PDF, etc.) - opening such takes an awfully long time.
I am grateful for every tip and am happy to answer any questions.
