what's about the Firefox SEC_ERROR_REUSED_ISSUER_AND_SERIAL issue with HTTPS decryption

My feeling is, Sophos does not know about the Intercept-X EAP forums.

So I put this to focus here. Maybe one of the Sophos members can bring some light into this issue, it this is on Sophos' screen and will be fixed?

Thanks.

  • There are several issues related to Modern Web that our development team has been working on. Some fixes will be rolled out in the 2022.1 release of the Sophos Central Endpoint agent, which may help with the certificate issue you are experiencing.

Where Chrome, Edge, and Opera browsers are affected by the SNTP service stopping and re-starting, this issue will be fixed with the 2022.1 release. I have not gotten confirmation that this will apply to Firefox as well, though some changes to the way certificates are handled are planned.

We will have more information to share regarding when you can expect the update by early next week. If you would like to test the update while it is in it's early phases, I recommend opening a support case with our team.
