Alerts not cleared automatically after endpoint reboot

Hi All

We have about 30 servers with Sophos Central and few days ago we got an alert on all of them saying they need to be rebooted after some Sophos updates been installed.

I have rebooted all the servers but alerts still there.

Do I need to clear all the alerts manually? (If so, thats a bit crazy, imagine people with hundreds of endpoints)

Thanks

  • Just been on the phone with sophos support - its by design that reboot alerts not cleared automatically after server is rebooted.

but alerts can cleared in bulk by going to dash board and selecting alerts and marking as acknowledged

  • If the bulk view showed which endpoint or server the alert was on and allowed us to acknowledge selectively then this would be helpful.  However, it just shows the Managed Customer Name and the alert details (so for reboots you can't even tell which host you are clearing the alert from).  It really needs to be updated so that when a host is rebooted the alerts clear AND/OR it shows which hosts have the alerts in the bulk view so you can leave any you know still need a reboot and acknowledge the rest.
