How to get some more info on a Manual Cleanup?

I made a full scan of Sophos anti-virus 9.2.7 on MacOS X 10.8.5.

At the end I have many files whch Quarantine Manager classify under "Manual Cleanup".

For all these files, when it was possible, I simply had to display their name and enter "rm" in a "Terminal".

What is the meaning of "Manual Cleanup"?

If it is a simple "rm" why isn't this operation not run by the anti-virus directly?
