files with permission (mode) write others should produce a warning when scan encounters them

I have recently encountered some files on Mac OSX which were created (not by me) with modes

rwxrw-rw-

These can be written by any user.

A warning should be generated for these during a scan.

hey DGerman,

Our scanner is looking for malware and other threats, but we don't look at file permissions as just because a file is writable does not make it a threat.

If you're concerned about the file permissions on your disk, you can use Apple's Disk Utility to verify them.
