Please excuse me for an old problem. I have a problem with the DHCP server of my UTM. Expired DHCP leases are not deleted from the IPv4 Lease Table and the address is not assigned again.
To this problem I have found some old postings, but no solution:
The problem occurs with my two Sophos UTM's. Both have the latest firmware 9.502-4. I am sure that the problem will also occur with other users.
The only way to clear the leases is to turn off the DHCP scope at short notice. Restarting the firewall does not cause the leases to be deleted.
Also, I have the problem that I get after every reboot of the Sophos the message that the DHCP server is not started. Perhaps there is a link between the two problems.
