Reimage repair

Hello.  I am having problems getting rid of Reimage Repair.   When ever I am on a web site, it comes up with reimage repair. Even on the Sophos web site.  Also getting Counterflix ads coming up  How do I get rid of them.   I am using Chrome.  I keep running Sophos Virus Removal Tool and Sophos home, but it is not getting removed.   Regards, Shaun

    Hello Shaun,

    there's a plethora of Adware and PUAs out there. While all AV vendors also detect these they don't have top-priority.
    Malwarebytes always paid particular attention to these kind of PUAs, they have a forum entry on Reimage Repair (like on many others). You can uninstall after using it. Please note that it's rather aggressive in its assessment and actions (check its findings if something you want to keep is on the list), though I haven't heard that it has wrecked a computer.
