here a little notice if you want use sophos free av on Zorin OS 12.
No GUI is available, only commandline
www.sophos.com/.../sophos-antivirus-for-linux.aspx
after Download the file: sav-linux-free-9.tgz
cd ~/Downloads/
tar xvfz sav-linux-free-9.tgz
cd sophos-av
sudo ./install.sh
enable on access scan
after install
sudo su -
/opt/sophos-av/bin/savupdate
check if its running:
/opt/sophos-av/bin/savdstatus
systemctl status sav-protect.service
open Browser an Download the Testvirus:
www.eicar.org/.../eicar.com.txt
You should get a InfoMessage from Sophos
but the file will be still in ~/Downloads (for example).
