MAC OSX 10.5.8 - virus protection

Hi

I know I should upgrade but cannot right now.

Is there a version of anti vitus available that will work with this operating system.

    It would appear that Sophos for PPC Macs has ended.

    The message in the log indicates the software has passed the "end of life" and updates require Intel processors.

    If there is a workaround, I would appreciate hearing about it also.

    Otherwise, we can only hope and rely on the scarcity of threats for the platform.

    Thanks for offering the link.

    It does not help.

    We are talking here about PPC Macs which are being abandoned.

    OS 10.5.8 is the last Mac OS that can be installed.

    Until a few weeks ago, Sophos provided anti-virus software for those systems.

    Now they do not.

    Of course, we can buy new computers AND get the new emojis.
