Using Sophos Anti-Virus 9.5.3 with Mac OS Sierra 10.12.1. When I attempt to move a message bearing a detected malware attachment to another mailbox (in Apple Mail), I receive the following error message in Mail:
The message "[Subject Line]" could not be moved to the mailbox "Trash -- [account name]". To view or change permissions, select the item in the Finder and choose File > Get Info.
If I turn off automatic scanning in Sophos, I can move the message at will, which I had been able to do for years and years. Turning scanning on and off to manage my mail is extraordinarily inconvenient.
Is this an issue with Sophos and Sierra that will be addressed soon?
