I'm running MacOS El Capitan 10.11.6 on a MacBook Air. Recently I've been having problems with logoff/restart/shutdown. As all my apps are closed I figured Sophos might be the problem (I have already reinstalled the OS). I've run the "Remove Sophos Anti-Virus tool" but consistently I get a big amber triangle with the message "The removal failed". Nothing else remotely helpful in terms of error message. Anyone got any ideas?
