I've never got a virus on my mac before but I just got one that Sophos wasn't able to clean up. I tried doing a custom scan with the delete threat setting but it didn't work, and the file path didn't match any of the other possible threats mentioned in the instructions for manually removing malware. It was a dmg-file that accidentaly was downloaded. Could anyone please help me with instructions on how to remove it? Thanks!

edit: when I googled it says I should just eject the macvexe app that popped up on my computer. But I'd rather remove it with Sophos if I can? Plus the .dmg file that caused the trouble would still be left (and that file doesn't want to be cleaned up or deleted via custom scan either).
