UTM Home and Add on NIC

I have a Lenovo ThinkCenter M93P tiny with an onboard Intel NIC. I am currently using a Startech  USB31000S USB3.0 Gigabit NIC with Untangle. I have the Onboard NIC going to my ISP modem and then USB NIC going to my WAP for the internal interface.

Anyone know if this USB NIC is compatible with the UTM Home Edition? If not is it possible to install the proper drives?

  • I have not had any luck with the 2 cheap ebay USB NIC cards.

A quick google says its supported via a driver (not the kernel) so most likely it will not work.

You have 2 options, test it out and see? Or install ESXi/XenServer on the hardware and then install UTM as a virtual appliance
