Unable to get external IP on Sophos Home Edition UTM

This is a duplicate post from another section on the Sophos Community Forums. I was pointed to this section by a member.

Here is my problem:

I'm setting up Sophos Home Edition here at my house. It is a software install on a spare computer I fixed up.

I have Comcast ISP. I'm putting the Comcast router into bridged mode and linking it to the Sophos PC to my Intel dual ported NIC, and from there to my switch on the LAN. The Comcast IP is dynamic. I've gone into the external interface on Sophos and configured it get a dynamic IP.

Only problem is, the External interface is not getting an IP. Has anyone else had the same issues before?
