Hi, I’m using Sophos Anti-Virus Home Edition v 9.4.2 on a Mac with Yosemite 10.10.5. I’m having trouble logging in to a specific website. I can access the website’s login page but after entering my username and password - the login page just hangs and will not log in!
I have identified the fact that if I go to Sophos Prefs > Web Protection > and turn OFF the bottom option (Block malicious downloads from websites etc) my login will succeed.
So I’ve tried adding the domain to the “Allowed Websites” section and turning the option back to ON - in the hope that would solve the problem but it still won’t allow me in.
I’m not sure what else I can do in order to access the site and wonder if anyone has any other suggestions please? I don’t want to leave the protection off just to access this site but do need to solve this.
