Quarantine Manager window looks nothing like the one in instructions for custom scans and manual deletes — no column to select "action available" — how to proceed?

Sophos (9.4.2) found Geonei-A and InstallCore on my Mac (running OS 10.9).  Attempted auto cleanup failed.  I see nice instructions on this website for how to do manual cleanup, beginning with some custom scans.  However, my Quarantine Manager window looks NOTHING at all like the one shown in those instructions and includes NO columns — just a list of the 2400+ locations with problems.  With no column to select "action available," I don't know how to proceed with the custom scans.  Certainly hope not to have to manually list, find, and delete over 2400 entries! :-)  (Even worse: after trying to find and delete even a few of them, that has proved impossible, as all the files are invisible!)  How to proceed from here, please?  Thank you.
