If I start a scan from the local host by using the UI no log file is created in
/Library/Logs/Sophos Anti-Virus/Scans/SEC Full System Scan so if a scan is taking a while there is no way of diagnosing what the issue is.
If a scan is initiated using "Sophos Home" web page then a log is created - but you can't check progress via the UI
If someone can investigate as this seems to be one of many bugs in this software.
