I recently downloaded Sophos to assist with removing a "virus" from my PC. I copied a definition from Dictionary.com into a Word document and my system went haywire. Slowed down tremendously and was basically a vegetable giving tons of "Not Responding" messages. I ran Bitdefender in rescue mode and found 1 issue. When I went back into normal mode the PC was still slow so I downloaded Sophos. It found a trojan JSRedir and when I clicked the button to clean it, I received a confirmation message saying my system was clean. However, when I submitted the log data I noticed a message at the bottom of the screen saying 0 or 1 cleaned. Is the virus still on my system if it's saying that 0 of 1 instead of 1 of 1? Any insight will be helpful.
