I've had sophos on my mac for years. The file in question has been on my laptop for years. It's a vital executable file.
This afternoon Sophos declared it was a threat. I've never had settings set to 'delete', my settings are to 'clean up' (though I don't think I really know what that means) or to quarantine the file in question to a specific folder.
The file is gone. It's not in the quarantine folder or in my trash. I'm really hacked off.
What on earth has sophos done?
