trying to install Sophos Home

trying to install Sophos Home on Macbook air OS X 10.11.1.

Downloaded installer (v 9.3.4) "can't be opened"

    Hey Langolier,

    Do you mean Sophos Home (https://home.sophos.com/login) or SAV for Mac Home Edition?

    If you mean Sophos Home, please have a look at the following KB: community.sophos.com/.../122253

    Additionally, you can open Console, and check the install.log, which you will find under /var/log > install.log and see if there's any errors that show when you're trying to run the installer.

    Also, you can always try downloading a new copy of the installer - and make sure you're logged in with an account that has admin privileges.
