unable to manually remove OSX/VSearch-A

Sophus is not removing OSX/Vsearch-A (there are actually two threats detected now OSX/Vsearch-A and OSX/Vsearch-D   see attached graphic).

I have followed the steps in the how to manually remove help files, but with no success.

I haven't "done" anything with the Volume  - see second graphic - am afradi to try ejecting it for fear somehting bad (worse?) might happen.

ANy thoughts on how to proceed would be most welcome.

thanks

John

  • DW,

I think this info will be useful for me. I do see that an .exe file is listed after the VSearch file. I just cannot seem to find the .exe file to delete. Can you give a little more detail about how to get to that and delet it?

    Thanks!
