How to avoid announced expiry of basic functionalities ?

In the dashboard and the license page of my free Sophos UTM 9 appliance, the basic functionalities EMAIL PROTECTION, NETWORK PROTECTION, WEB PROTECTION, WEB SERVER PROTECTION, WIRELESS PROTECTION and ENDPOINT ANTIVIRUS are suddenly shown to expire in 29 days. 

What can be done that the announced expiry is avoided? Certainly I want to maintain the protection for my network given by UTM and its functionalities, in particular NETWORK PROTECTION and WEB PROTECTION.

  • If this is the first time you have seen this and installed a home UTM only recently, license "renewal" (replacement) is done at myutm.sophos.com/licenses.php

    Hope you have those credentials.

    Then:

    Home use license cannot be renewed. You need to delete your expired Home Use Licenses and generate a new one under the License Management section. Please see below instructions:
    
    i. Log in to your MyUTM Account (https://myutm.sophos.com)
    
    ii. On the upper right side click 'License Management'. Scroll down to the 'Home User License’ section of the page
    
    iii. Click the license ID to open license information.
    
    iv. Scroll down to the 'Action' section of the page then click 'Delete License'. It will advise you that license will be expired. Click 'Ok expire license'. The system will automatically route you to the license management page of the website.
    
    v. Scroll down to 'Home User License’ section of the page, then click 'Create License'.
    The system will generate a new Home User License.
    
    vi. Click on the license ID then scroll to ‘Actions’ then select ‘Download License File’
    save and upload to your UTM appliance.

    In UTM -> management -> Licensing -> Installation (tab) upload from where you saved the licence file and apply.
