Is it safe to purge time to time /opt/sophos-av/update/cache ?

    Hello grand toubab,

    safe
    yes, unless you purge it while it's checking for updates. Won't be beneficial though as the cache will be populated again at the next update check (i.e. within an hour). And no, the cache doesn't contain obsolete stuff.

    I try it but not much gain ans the update takes around 9 mn.

    root@debian:/opt/sophos-av/bin# ./savupdate
