Quarantine Manager requires admin auth for items I (non-admin) own

In a non-Admin account, to clean up any item in the quarantine list, including any that the non-Admin user owns, requires admin authentication.  I understand that SAV needs to block access to problem files and it's good to not let someone override that, but a non-admin user should be able to clean up their own files.  I can't have family coming to me every time they need a virus cleaned up.

SAV needs an option to allow non-admin cleanup (I didn't see any).

You're correct that this feature isn't currently supported, but I will pass this feedback on to the product team. The reason authentication is required is because SAV is making changes to your system. Allowing an application to take that sort of action without administrative approval is risky business - but I do understand your use case.

One thing you could try is to change the SAV settings to automatically clean any threats that are detected, and see if that will work for the non-admin users. I unfortunately haven't had time to test this yet (sorry) but it might be an ok workaround.
