OS X 10.11 Console - kernel Error invalid signature for com.sophos.nke.swi

My Console log is rolling over every 6 to 7 minutes pretty much with 3 messages

com.apple.kext ERROR: invalid signature for com.sophos.nke.swi, will not load

kernel: Kext com.sophos.nke.swi no found for upload request

SMEServiceManager: [SMEServiceManager.m:1541] Unable to load kext 'com.sophos.nke.swi'.

I'm running Home Edition 9.4.0, Threat detection engine 3.61.0. First I uninstalled it using the supplied tool, then reinstalled, same issue

OS X 10.11 late 2012 iMac

not getting the same problem on my MBP also running El Capitan

I'm conversant with the El Capitan related issues, but expect 9.4.0 to be stable.

    I have the same problem. Running 10.11.4 Beta 1, it gives the same error messages regarding the certificate. Net result is a non-functioning anti-virus, resulting in a security error when building a VPN connection. Sophos is not running.
