Sophia unexpectedly quits on start-up

Every time I restart my Mac (running OS 10.10.5) I get a msg that Sophos has quit unexpectedly, report sent to apple, click to re-start sophos etc. Have removed and re-installed sophos a couple of time but problem persists. As far as aware all other applications running fine. Any ideas?

    I recommend taking a look in the Sophos Antivirus log. If you see any errors, you can post them here and we'll try to help.

    This is happening to me too. I have looked at the logs and the last time Autoupdate happened was 9th October.

    Sophos 'unexpectedly quits' on Restart and a few moments later a notification comes up to say Sophos isn't running.

    This now seems to have been resolved by Quitting > Restarting > Removing SAV > reinstalling > Restarting
