Current Version # 2.7.0?

My Sophos Virus Removal Tool Shows (SCTCleanupService.exe) that it is version 2.7.0 yet the download site (www.sophos.com/.../virus-removal-tool.aspx) is offering version 2.5. Am I using the most current version or a bogus version?
