I am evaluating various security appliance software. I have downloaded, installed and initially setup an evaluation version of the XG Firewall. However I am having two main big issues:
1. DNS is not working. The DNS servers are being setup correctly on the WAN side. I can even test an URL from that page successfully. However outside of that, DNS is not working. When I try a ping with a known good URL, it replies back that it can't find it. Web browser is the same.
2. HTTPS traffic is blocked. Lacking a DNS, on a different system, I pinged the URL Cnet.com which resolved to 64.30.228.118. I then typed this IP address in the web browser, and the site is blocked due to encryption (https).
Can anyone help me out with these two issues?
