Hi,
I've raised this as a ticket, but I don't know when it will get looked at. It's interesting because new kernel problems are normally at the compile stage, whereas in this case Talpa is compiling but then managing to corrupt memory enough to break mount and namespaces.
I'm afraid I can't look into this in detail, so I can't help you beyond the suggestions to use fanotify instead.
