How do I download and install the 9.2.7 version of anti virus for mac. I do not want the latest 9.4.0 version.

I need to install the 9.2.7 version of the anti-virus for mac. I need this older version to connect to my office network remotely. My company does not yet support the latest version 9.4.0. They are working on it, but in the meantime I can only connect using the version 9.2.7.

  • We have retired version 9.2.7 of our free Home Edition product. Its no longer available. Given that you have a business requirement, your company will still has access to the 9.2 business version and you should be able to obtain the proper licensed version from your company.

  • Having the same problem here. There is some conflict between the VPN software (Junos Pulse Secure 5.1) and Sophos Anti-Virus 9.4, reporting that there is a compliance issue. Evidently it's really the developers of Junos Pulse's problem to fix. However (unfortunately for Sophos), the net result is a fail for Sophos. As a result of the perceived/detected compliance failure, I'm inhibited from connecting remotely (and by extension, getting any work done -- the real goal). Getting the earlier version from my client is not an option since I am not physically on the premises (thus the "connecting remotely" statement earlier). Therefore, if 9.2.7 isn't available as a support download, then I personally have no other alternative to switch antivirus systems. It would probably be good for Sophos support to know that this problem exists, since there could be quite a few people having issues like this this and possibly jumping ship over it since the simplest answer is to switch to another competitor's system. Anyway... you've been informed, so you can add it to the knowledgebase... Hope this helps! :) (p.s. i may be back when the Junos Pulse developers break the other antivirus system! ;) )
