Remotely Locking a Machine

One of my users decided she didn't want to return her laptop when she quit.  Of course I have disabled her AD account, etc., but I am wondering if there is a way to remotely lock her machine immediately the way it automatically locks after two weeks of inactivity.  Thanks in advance!

  • If she is using a Windows 7 device and it has the Power On Authentication enabled you could delete her account from the Safeguard Management Centre.

Next time the device synchronises it will remove her account from the POA - so when she restarts the device her username and password will not let her log into the POA.
