We have been successfully encrypting Windows based laptops with Safeguard Enterprise.
Recently, the need to encrypt MacBooks has arrived. Some of our users are using BootCamp to run Windows on the Mac, with files needing to be encrypted on both sides.
As a test, we have installed Safeguard Disk Encryption for Mac 6.10 on a Mac Mini, and it has been encrypted successfully. We then installed BootCamp and set up a 50GB Windows partition afterwards with no issues. The Mac is a late 2012 Mini w/ OS X 10.10.4 and a 500GB SSD.
The question is:
Is the BootCamp partition also encrypted by default, or is there further action required? How can we confirm what is encrypted and what is not?
In an older release note for Safeguard 5.5, it was stated that you could not set up BootCamp after the drive had been encrypted with Safeguard DE for Mac. It also noted that Safeguard Enterprise could not be installed on the BootCamp Windows partition because there is no BIOS on a Mac, just EFI.
Any claification on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
