recommended database size

Hi there,

I'm a SGN newbie and we are implementing the Enterprise edition in the next couple of days.

I'm preparing the installation and I'm wondering what the recommended database size is.

Initially we are configuring approx. 80 laptops to use POA.

Hi,

when using full disk encryption or file encryption the database will remain quite small (a few MB) as long as you restrict logging events to a minimum. Increasing logging to max, e.g. with file tracking, can easily create millions of events per day, thus increasing the DB size to many GB.
