Reading sector failed! ThinkPad T430 SSD+HHD

Hi,

I have met a problem that I added a SSD disk into the laptop and installed the windows 7 on it. And SSD disk has been set the first boot disk.When I reboot it, Safeguard displayed an error: " Reading sector failed".

If I remove the HDD disk, the laptop works OK.

How can I resolve it?

Hi,
in most of the cases the issue is fixed by switching the SafeGuard POA HDD controller mode from S-ATA to IDE using Shift+F6 hotkey. Instructions how to use hotkeys can be found here: http://www.sophos.com/support/knowledgebase/article/111919.html
