Dell Latitude e6410, e6420, and e6430 Docking station issues fix

Came across an issue that was slamming my brain to try to figure out. Figure I would share this with the community to whoever might find it reletive or helpful. Installing Sophos Safegaurd 6.01 on endpoints with Docking stations will sometimes result in a POA screen boot loop or windows not loading where the system restarts or just shuts down. Changing the legacy options via the Shift+function keys wouldn't work and no bios config would make it pass. I found by looking at the Dell website that these systems had BIOS updates that were required. flashed the BIOS from USB drive and attempted to start up the system with new BIOS. issues were resolved.

Now keep in mind this was only due to a Docking station being present. If we removed the Laptop from the docking station, the issue would not appear. It looked as if the Kernal used in Sophos Safegaurd was panicing due to hardware and thus unable to do what it needed. In newer purchases of these computers we found them to have latest BIOS so its not so much of an issue if you purchase these laptops new.

Just something to keep in mind. I think here is a KB out there that probably explains this solution but I cannot find it using the keywords relitive to my issue.
