Never came to imagine that the two applications would collide during startup but here is the dilemma and in hopes someone can shine some light on it.
The system in question is a Dell E series 6420 running Windows XP SP3. We had installed Sophos SG without issues and have been encrypted for about 3 weeks now. Our upper echelon made the choice to install Imprivata which is a SSO solution. Now with these two both installed. The Login hook at the beginning of XP boot looks as if the two are in conflict and now, unable to log into Windows. I have the Win PE disk with Sophos tools but nothing is working. And reaching out to Google shown no recourse. Is there any way to uninstall Sophos using CMD prompt? We are at a loss and re-imaging this machine is totally out of the question if at all possible.
Note: I forgot to add that after you login from the sophos screen it loads to windows XP you see the blue background, but get no logon screen, the HDD is running and it works for about 2-3 mins then the computer BSOD 0x00000C5, which is obviously in regards to installing imprivata.
