Upgrading SGN 6.0 Server to SGN 6.0.1

I couldn't find anything in the Install guide but I was wondering whats involved with upgrading our server to 6.0.1? Is a new server config required and client config? Also, should the older version be uninstalled first or can the upgrade be done over the current install of 6.0.0? Same question of the Management Center as well if 6.0.1 can be installed over 6.0.0?

    Hi Rex,

    we have an upgrade guide for the SafeGuard clients and for the SafeGuard Enterprise backend components (Enterprise Server, Management Center). You can find the backend guide here: http://www.sophos.com/en-us/support/knowledgebase/116272.aspx

    In a nutshell, you just run the 6.00.1 packages on the SafeGuard Enterprise Server and Management Center machines and install the Service Release on top of the existing installation (no prior uninstall required).

    There is also no need to upgrade Client/Server configuration packages when upgrading from 6.00.0 to 6.00.1

    "Please note: When upgrading from SafeGuard version 6.00.0 to the 6.00.1 Service Release, a Database schema upgrade is not required. "
