Encrypting .JPG, .JPEG, .GIF, et all files

Hello Everybody,

I'm having a rough time encrypting image files. I have Sophos SGN V 8.0, and I have a file encryption policy:

In the template, I added paint, and with it, several image suffix like .jpg, .gif, .jpeg.

The files are encrypting correctly (the icon is with its green lock), but, when I open one of them with windows preview, it cannot open the file.

What am I missing?

Thanks for your help.

Regards,

Jose

    Hello Jose,

It sounds like you've only allowed the files to be opened with Paint, do they open with Paint? If you allow Windows Preview (Windows Photo Viewer) as an allowed application can you then see the files?
