C/R recovery on an hp 840 G3

Hello,

We are currently deploying the hp 840 G3 v1h24ut-aba--1.
Upon installation sophos encryption is currently forcing C/R recovery.

This works fine about half the time. The other half of the time the 3... 2... 1... countdown does not occur for the computer rendering it unrecoverable.

Additionally when we can recover these PC's the TPM does not reset meaning these computers cant be accessed past the bitlocker screen without another recovery until the tpm automatically recovers attempts. 

I get the feeling this is a C/R compatibility issue, but am unsure of how to proceed.

    Hello Peter,

    Unfortunately BitLocker Challenge/Response is unsupported on all HP models, the only makes/models that support it are as below:

    Lenovo T440p, T530, X230,W530, X240s, ThinkCenter M93z  
    Dell XPS12, E6420
